APPEAL FOR FITRA
Saying of Masoom (A.S):
To make good the lack or deficiency in fast by Zakat Al-Fitra so that your faithful brethren may share your happiness.
What is Fitra:
It is Charity given to the poor at the end of fasting for the acceptance of fast by revealed law.
Who is responsible to pay Fitra:
The head of the house hold is responsible to pay the required amount for the others members of family, servants who are his dependents whether they are his guests.
When does the Zakat-Al-Fitra Pay:
It is obligatory to pay after the sighting of Eid Moon and it must be paid before offering Eid Prayers.
Rate:
Generally eaten food of the area for example wheat, barley, rice etc be given as Fitra. Amount of Fitra is 3 Kg of grain or present cost of the grain as per each member of the family.
Deserving of Eid Al-Fitr:
Deserving of Zakat are deserving of Fitra.
Appeal:
The best disbursement of Fitra are religious institutions which are busy in spreading the teachings of Muhammad o Al-e Muhammad (P.B.U.H).
