Jamia Imam Khomeini Mari Indus.ecause there was not a single religious institution in the district,up to 1982.it is tofull fill the dire needs of Momineens Karam of this district,this grand educational and character building institute was founded on 30 August 1982.Its syllabus has been extended and now a day the last book on fiqqa (sharra-i-Jumma) is also being taught.
.This five years course is equivalent to M.A Arabic / M.A Islamaiate.Here after the students are sent abroad (Qom Iran, Najaf Iraq, and Syria Damascus) for higher education.After the completion of higher education they return to the country and serve the nation.This Jamia held annual Orientation workshops for over 19 years from 1984 to till now for college and university graduates. This was an exceedingly enlightening Program and the Participants still carry its result.
In Short We can furnish some of the Achievement of this great Jamia as under
3500 students got religious education .
150 students were sent to Iran for higher Islamic education.
30 students were sent to Syria and Iraq for higher Islamic education.
160 students completed a special course as "Khateeb".
150 students successfully completed" Dars-i-Nizami".
50,00 students form different colleges and universities completed the Islamic short courses through this institute.
900 matriculate students completed a special short course of 3 month with the name of Fehm_i_Din.
1000 students are doing their services at different places after completing education form this Jamia.
A jam -packed gathering of oJashn_i_ Ghadeero has been helding regularly for 6 years.
The programs of Jum _ tuI_ Widda, the collective prayers and Iftaar dinners have been helding continuously for 15 years.
There has been continuing a series of different public, political, welfare and collective programs for 21 years.
Every year the Jamia arranges a short course (of 3 months duration) for the students who were just taken the matriculation examination. They are given useful information in Aloom i-Din as well as Faroo-i-Din like Namaze, Roza and Khummes etc. they are also given the basic information's about computer operations and spoken English.
Most of the students belong to the rural areas and they know very little about the college education and they face difficulties to select the proper subjects and getting the suitable academic future. During this short term course they arc properly guided and thoroughly equipped for further education. About 500 students have been benefited from this course also can be dubbed as pre-college training program.
